Overview
Splitwise is looking for a full-time KYC Analyst to expand our KYC team! We're eager to find folks who enjoy solving complex problems, digging into details, and making thoughtful, well-reasoned decisions.
At Splitwise, the KYC team supports Splitwise Pay by verifying customer identities, preventing fraud, and following Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures. We balance a smooth customer onboarding experience with the importance of identifying and mitigating risk. Our analysts investigate cases, make decisions based on available information and documentation, and look for ways to improve our processes.
We believe that small groups of dedicated people can do great work AND maintain an excellent work-life balance at the same time. ("It's a marathon, not a sprint," we often say.) We have a small hybrid HQ in Providence, RI, but most of us work remotely, with 2-3 large off-site gatherings each year. We reward high levels of ownership and believe that psychological safety helps people ask questions, work through challenges, and do their best work.
The KYC team is part of Business Operations and works closely with Customer Support and other teams to complete investigations and improve the customer experience. This position reports to the KYC Manager, Dan. Full-time analysts must be online and available from 10am-5pm ET on weekdays. We're excited to welcome someone who wants to contribute to our small, collaborative team!
Unfortunately, we are not able to sponsor employment visas or work authorizations for this role.
